Our Focus
When you’re in pain, it takes away from your body, even your business, and relationships. You want proven solutions that are not only safe, but also gentle so you can get back to your busy lifestyle. No drawn out cookie-cutter plans are used in my practice. Most patients feel significant relief within the first 3 visits.
Even at an early age, I had an innate passion for healthy living. Working out, and having my mother take me to the “health food store” instead of the grocery store felt right to me. My life completely changed after attending a U2 concert at the early age of 15. On the way home, after the concert, I was involved in a rear-end collision. The accident was serious enough to have me transported to the emergency room with a lower back injury. Even though the doctors told me that there weren’t any fractures in my spine, the pain was relentless. The next day, I was in more pain than the night before. My mother brought me straight to my primary doctor. My primary doctor went straight to his go-to, and prescribed medication for me. The side effects from the medication were worse than the pain. After a few weeks, and worsening symptoms, and not being able to enjoy my life, I had to take matters into my own hands. At my follow-up appointment, I told the doctor that the medication was causing horrible side effects (nausea, and lethargy), and weren’t even helping me. My doctor insisted lowering my dosage. I brought up the bold and quite controversial idea of seeing a chiropractor. This idea didn’t go over to well with both my mother, and doctor. Against my doctor’s advice, and my mother’s wishes, I decided to trust my gut, and go on my own, without any permission to a chiropractor. First order of business was getting a job to save money so that I can so that I can get out of pain, and get back to living my life. My first chiropractic visit was kind of surprising as I felt a tremendous amount of relief both physically, and emotionally without having to go through any rigorous procedures, or having to take any medication. After the 5th visit, I no longer had to rely on medication, and decided that I was going to be a chiropractor. A decision that changed my life. Almost 40 years later since my first chiropractic visit, I still live a healthy lifestyle by eating mostly organic food, working out, and doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
